Who Am I? Do You Know My Name?

A KosherEye reader, Nomi, has contacted us in her quest to find the name of a china pattern she absolutely loves. A follower of Susie Fishbeins's Kosher by Design series, she is in love with the china pattern that appears on page 9 of the original Kosher by Design cookbook, and wants to order it but doesn't know the name of the pattern/vendor.

We are always challenged by "the hunt" for anything kosher related and find this challenge fun! So, we are asking our KosherEye Friends to help us in our quest to help Nomi find her dream china pattern.

If you know who "I am or my name", please send the information to ContactUs.

UPDATE:
KosherEye Friend Mindy Cramer recognized the pattern – Wedgwood Royal Lapis – "the china I chose for our wedding 22 years ago." Thanks Mindy, you made someone very happy!

KosherBuzz - Apples and Honey PDF Print E-mail

Apples & Honey for Rosh Hashanah

Apples and Honey, are the “must have” pair for the Rosh Hashanah table. No matter the family's level of observance, apples and honey can be found on most holiday tables. There are apples to dip, apple side dishes such as kugels, apple entrees such as chicken with apples, and apple desserts, like apple cake or strudel. But, the perpetual apple question remains: Which apple to use for which culinary purpose? We thank guest columnist, Eileen Goltz for helping us better understand how to cook and bake with apples, the 4,000 year old biblical fruit. Read her SLICE OF LIFE: High Holidays Apples feature.
